Websites that explain your business clearly and help you win better enquiries.

I’m Dan. I design websites and help small businesses with their marketing.

Your website has a job to do.

People are busy. They need to understand what you do and why they should choose you, without having to work it out for themselves.
01

Tell people what you do

What do you sell? Who’s it for? Put the answers where people can find them.
02

Show them why they should trust you

Show your work. Answer their questions. Let customers explain what it’s like dealing with you.
03

Make the next step obvious

Want them to call, send an enquiry or buy something? Make it easy.

How can I help?

Sometimes you need a new website. Sometimes you just need one annoying problem sorted.
01

Websites

A first website, a replacement, or improvements to the one you already have. I’ll help with the pages, content, design and getting it live.
02

Ecommerce

Online shops that make it easier to find products and buy them. Help with product pages, checkout and sales tracking, backed by experience helping run an ecommerce business.
03

Marketing Support

Local SEO, Google Business Profile, website content, landing pages and advertising on Google, Facebook and Instagram. Tracking and practical AI support too. We’ll work out what needs attention first.
04

Website Care & Support

Managed hosting, daily backups, updates and monitoring, from £65/month. There are also plans with time for small website changes and extra support.
05

Hosting

Standalone hosting keeps your website online. Maintenance, monitoring and website changes need separate support, or a Website Care plan.
That’s me
Dan McGovern leading a business workshop

You deal with me.

I ask the questions, plan the work and explain what’s happening as we go. There’s no account manager between us.

I started in website and graphic design in 2011. I’ve also co-run an ecommerce business, looking after the website and marketing and getting involved in the day-to-day work.

That changes the questions I ask. The website has to work alongside the business, including what happens after someone sends an enquiry or places an order.

If I think you’ve asked for something that won’t help, I’ll explain why and suggest what I’d do instead.
Selected work

A few websites I’ve worked on.

Different businesses, different jobs. Here are a few examples.

How we get it done.

01

Talk

Tell me about the business and what you need. If you’ve already got a website, we’ll start by looking at it.
02

Plan

I’ll explain what I recommend, what it costs and what I need from you. We agree the work before I start.
03

Build

We get the pages and content together, then work through the design and build. You’ll review it along the way.
04

Launch

I’ll check the site before it goes live. We’ll agree what you’ll manage yourself and any support you want afterwards.

I’ll take an initial look and get back to you about the next step. The initial review is free; any paid work is agreed separately.
